UPDATE: Tornado Watch cancelled.
The National Weather Center has issued a tornado watch for 84 counties in Georgia, including Walton and Gwinnett. The watch will remain in effect until 3 a.m. Sept. 18.
A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
