ā¢ South Cobb Area Council Names 2025 Citizens of the Year for Austell and Mableton (cobbcountycourier.com) ā Mableton residents are being recognized in a big way, with local planner and Mableton Development Authority chair Jason Gaines named the 2025 Mableton Citizen of the Year by the Cobb Chamberās South Cobb Area Council. The award highlights his leadership on city projects and long-term planning that shape Mabletonās growth. Austellās Derek Caffe was also honored, with Powder Springsā winner to be announced in February.
