• After letters, residents question water quality (metteradvertiser.com) — If you received a recent letter from the City of Metter about “unknown” lead status in your water line, officials say your drinking water is safe and meets all EPD standards. The mailing is part of a statewide inventory effort to identify old galvanized service lines, which the city will replace from the main to the meter while homeowners remain responsible for pipes on their property.
