16-Year-Old Runs Away With Infant Daughter: Police

Atlanta police describe the missing teen as a "habitual runaway," but do not believe her 10-month-old daughter is in danger.

Atlanta police are looking for a 16-year-old who disappeared with her 10-month-old daughter on Friday afternoon.

Ivory Weaver left disappeared from a home in the 500 block of Blake Avenue at 1:30 p.m. in the company of a girl described as a runaway. Weaver herself is described as a “habitual runaway,” although she has always returned home after a couple of days.

Weaver has reportedly been a good mother to her baby, and police do not believe the infant is in any danger from her.

Police say Weaver is a black female who stands 5’1” tall and weighs 160-170 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair extensions tied in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, khaki pants, and a blue jacket.
