2nd Bomb Threat Hits Midtown Hotel: Reports
A 17th Street Northwest hotel has been the subject of two bomb threats a day apart in Midtown, media reports say.
ATLANTA, GA — A day apart, an Atlantic Station hotel has been hit with two bomb threats in Midtown, media reports say.
The latest threat came around 8 a.m. Tuesday at Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown in the 200 block of 17th Street Northwest, both WANF-TV and WAGA-TV reported.
No suspicious items were found during the police investigation, WAGA-TV reported.

The first threat reportedly occurred via a phone call around 11:45 a.m. Monday. The manner of the second threat was unknown.
Police have not identified any suspects, according to reports.

Atlantic Station has recently made headlines after five juveniles were arrested in connection with a shooting in the area.
Atlanta Police on Dec. 28, 2025 said a crowd of youths gathered the day before at Atlantic Station, where fireworks were ignited and the shooting damaged local businesses.
At the time, WAGA-TV reported about 500 teenagers were in the area causing a large disturbance.
During the investigation, police said they determined fireworks had been lit in and around Atlantic Station.
Officers later saw a group of juveniles exchanging gunfire near 17th and Spring streets. Nearby businesses and a vehicle were damaged in the shootout, police said. No one was injured.
