Atlanta Homeless Shelter To Host 5K Run/Walk
The Atlanta Children's Shelter's will host the 9th Annual "5 to Thrive" 5K Run/Walk and Bunny Run on April 15.

ATLANTA, GA -- The Atlanta Children's Shelter's will host the 9th Annual "5 to Thrive" 5K Run/Walk and Bunny Run on April 15, the organization announced recently.
Proceeds from the race will go toward bolstering ACS programs that serve homeless children and families in metro Atlanta. The organization hopes to raise $100,000 in the event.
Festivities will include a pep rally, the 5K Run/Walk, and fun run with the shelter's mascot Ace, the Atlanta Dream mascot Star and the Georgia State University mascot Pounce. The fun run is designed to include families and young children in strollers.

Those who run the 5K are eligible to be qualified for the Peachtree Road Race. Also medals will be awarded in the race.
