Atlanta Police, Firefighters Set to Face Off
Some City of Atlanta first responders are getting ready to put on the foil and participate in a charity hockey match with other agencies.

Body checking a police officer is usually a great way to get sent to jail.
This Sunday, it might be a great way to get sent to the penalty box.
Police officers and firefighters from many of metro Atlanta’s public safety organizations will take the ice against each other at the sixth annual “Stick It To Cancer” charity hockey game at The Cooler in Alpharetta, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Heroes in red and blue from the City of Atlanta will join their brothers and sisters from Paulding, Cobb, and Gwinnett Counties, the City of Marietta, and the Department of Homeland Security will be involved in the game, the AJC writes.
Proceeds from the game will benefit Bristol Haynes, the three-year-old daughter of a Paulding County firefighter who is dropping the gloves in her fight against leukemia.
