Atlantic Station Hopes Signature Events Lineup Brings Crowds To Midtown

BREAKING: Premiere Midtown shopping venue releases 2017 Signature Events lineup, which includes Movies In the Park, yoga classes and more.

ATLANTA, GA -- Atlantic Station is heralding a full slate for its 2017 Signature Events lineup, which includes a number of family-friendly festivities in the venue's main green space.

Some of the favorite events on tap include movies in the centerpiece park, Wellness Wednesday, Art in the Park and more.

“We are thrilled to kick off this season’s Signature Events,” Daniel Easton, Atlantic Station’s marketing director, said in a statement. “These events bring the community together, have something to offer for everyone and reflect Atlantic Station’s move toward a healthier living experience.”

Here some details about some of the events:

  • Tot Spot: Every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon, toddlers will be treated to weekly series, include storytellers, face painting and puppet shows. Tot Spot, held at Central Park, begins on April 4 and lasts through Sept. 26.
  • Wellness Wednesday: Every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. patrons can join in on a weekly yoga class (bring your own mat). Wellness Wednesday runs April 5 through Sept. 27.
  • Improv in the Park: In partnership with the Whole World Improv Theatre, Atlantic Station will offer a comedy show the first Wednesday of each month at 8 p.m. in Central Park. The laughs begin April 5 and and go through Sept. 6.
  • Movies in Central Park: Although there is a cinema on the property, visitors can watch full-length films at dusk amid the skyline as Atlantic Station's centerpiece park will show movies from the 1990s. Grab your popcorn because Movies in Central Park begins May 18 and the credits won't end until Aug. 3. To view the film lineup, please visit Atlantic Station’s event page.
