New Seafood Restaurant Opens Tuesday in Midtown
Cajun eatery Bon Ton will be located across the street from Mary Mac's.
ATLANTA, GA -- After you've thawed out a bit from the weekend winter storm, you may be game for some seafood. If so, then the new Cajun-inspired restaurant coming to Midtown Atlanta early next week may be literally right up your alley.
Bon Ton, which will serve an assortment of New Orleans-style dishes, including crab, fried fish and seafood boils, is set to open its doors Tuesday, according to news reports.
The eatery will be located at 674 Myrtle St., the old building for Top Flr, which shut its doors in 2015. The neighborhood offers an eclectic mix of food options; the venerable Mary Mac's Tea Room and Papi's Cuban and Caribbean Grill is literally just feet away.

Bon Ton will seat 80 people and serve frozen alcoholic drinks in the spirit of New Orleans, according to Atlanta Magazine. The restaurant is being run by Darren Carr, in partnership with Lawrence’s Eric Simpkins and Crawfish Shack’s Hieu Pham, who will add a Vietnamese influence to the menu.
The eatery will be "Cajun NOLA restaurant meets brothel,” Carr is quoted as saying. “In town isn’t being serviced properly with the best Cajun seafood.”
