Actor Brad Pitt showed up at Midtown's Regal Atlantic Station theater Thursday.

Pitt surprised the audience at a preview showing of his movie "World War Z," which opens June 21, 11 Alive reports.

The actor thanked the audience and gave out a few "World War Z" shirts, according to the television station.
