Doughnut Run Turns Into Night Of Terror For 4 GA Tech Students
The students were approached by two panhandlers, who pulled a gun, forced them into a car and made them withdraw money from an ATM.

ATLANTA -- Four Georgia Tech students were kidnapped Monday night near the Krispy Kreme on Ponce de Leon Avenue. According to Atlanta police, the four male students were approached by two men who appeared to be panhandling near the doughnut shop around 11 pm. The men approached the students, and one of the students gave one of the men about $5. That's when one of the men pulled a gun on the students.
Police said the suspects then stole the students' cell phones and forced them into a car. The suspects then drove the students to a nearby Wells Fargo ATM, forcing each of them to withdraw $200.
The kidnappers then continued to drive around with the students still in the vehicle. When the car was approaching Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the students escaped and ran to safety. None of the students were injured during the ordeal.
