Food Blogger Turned Author to Sign Books in Midtown
Malika Harricharan will sign copies of 'Food Lovers' Guide to Atlanta' Tuesday night.

Finding the perfect restaurant in Atlanta just got easier thanks to a new book that aims to help residents and tourists curb their appetite at just the right place.
The book — Food Lovers’ Guide to Atlanta — features some of the best restaurants in the city, including Midtown favorites , , , , , , and more.
Author Malika Harricharan, a food blogger in Atlanta and full-time social media consultant, said she was approached by a publishing company in early 2011. In less than a year, she was a published author.
“I didn’t have any idea that I would ever write a book,” the Kennesaw resident told Patch in an interview. Harricharan runs Atlanta Restaurant Blog, where she reviews local eateries.

“That’s kind of what every food blogger dreams about," she said.
Tuesday night, Dec. 13, Harricharan will hold a booksigning event in Midtown. It is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at on Juniper Street. Books will be available for $10. More information is online.
