Fulton Health Services To Dig Up 30-Year Time Capsule

Fulton Health Services is digging up the 30-year time capsule it left at its own building on Jesse Hill Jr. Drive.

ATLANTA, GA -- In the midst of Reagonomics in the 1980s, Fulton County Health Services buried a time capsule at its headquarters at the Aldredge Health Center on Jesse Hill Jr. Drive in Midtown. Atlanta was not yet an Olympic town. The city was not yet the City Too Busy To Hate, but on its way. My, how the time has flown.

Fulton Health Services now has new shiny digs at 10 Park Place South in downtown Atlanta -- but staffers are yearning for yesteryear. They want to know what their forebears buried more than 30 years ago, so they're digging up the time capsule this week. Many former and current employees of the Department of Health and Wellness will be on hand Thursday, June 29 for the capsule unveiling, set for 10:30 a.m.
