Fulton Seeks Public Comments in Action Plan
Consolidated Plan needs community's say before it is submitted to federal government.
ATLANTA, GA -- The Fulton County Board of Commissioners is asking for the public's input in annual Action and Consolidated Plans to devise strategies and improve services in local communities.
The county has published draft amendments to the plans, which must be submitted to the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The Consolidated Plan is used by the county to determine community needs, resources and proposed projects that benefit residents. To qualify for federal dollars, a public review and comment is necessary, the county said in a news release.
