J.Cole Surprises Atlanta Fans with $1 Midtown Concert Announced via Twitter

In a surprise announcement on Twitter, hip-hop artist J. Cole told fans he was doing a surprise $1 concert at The Loft in Midtown Atlanta.

According to some reporting by CBS Atlanta, "The show started at 8 p.m. but there were lines around the building as early as 4 p.m."

At about 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning the rapper tweeted:

Atlanta tonight. 1 dollar. The Loft (at Center Stage Atlanta) 1374 West Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 8PM Doors. 1st come 1st serve

J.Cole is currently on a nationwide tour entitled "Dollar and a Dream", and is headed to Baltimore and D.C. before his new album releases on June 18th.
