Midtown Eatery Whiskey Bird Opens Patio To Guests
Whiskey Bird, a new restaurant in the Morningside neighborhood, opens patio in Midtown.
ATLANTA, GA -- Morningside’s newest restaurant, Whiskey Bird, has made patio dining available for its customers, Patch has learned. The outside space seats 30 and is accented with candles so that patrons can enjoy the bustling Virginia Highlands-Morningside scene and its greenery.
Whiskey Bird, located at 1409 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306, opened in April in one of the most busy corridors of Midtown. Owners Anthony Vipond and Executive Chef Chad Crete (who used to helm the Iberian Pig), have created a neighborhood restaurant known for its Asian-themed concepts served with American sensibilities, including Hong Kong sliders, grilled ahi tuna and tacos with braised pork and Peruvian chicken.

The eatery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 pm to 6:30 pm and Friday through Sunday from 4 pm to 6 pm, the family meal is the perfect, healthy option for a family of four. For $40, families will be able to choose from yummy menu favorites to share and are also able to order additional food off the dinner menu. A quick and easy dinner plan, Whiskey Bird’s family meal is the perfect weekday or weekend meal time for a family on the go. Substitutions cannot be made, but modifications will be accommodated.
