Once again another long week is coming to an end. Now the weekend is here and you have nothing planned. No worries, Midtown Patch is here to help plan your activities.

  • Brown Bag Fridays in Central Park.  Select quick, convenient, value priced menu options at one of Atlantic Station’s restaurants, then come enjoy special music and activities in Central Park. Relax and dine with extra seating. “Brown Bag Fridays” all summer long. Live jazz music every Friday in May in partnership with the Atlanta Jazz Festival. 11am-2pm
  • Second Annual Stache Dash. Don't be a dum dum - enjoy all of the block party fun over two days as Tin Lizzy's celebrates Cinco de Mayo! 
  • Cinco de Mayo Weekend at Escorpion - To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, the Midtown restaurant will feature live Mariachi music on Saturday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and a DJ will get everybody to shake their booties in the evening. The music will continue on Sunday and the Cuervo Girls will bring their tequila shot challenge at around 9 p.m.
  • 31st Annual Derby Day.  Can’t make it to Louisville for this year’s Derby? Join Shepherd Center’s Junior Committee on Saturday, May 4th as we recreate the magic of Churchhill Downs at Derby Day 2013!
  • Piedmont Park Green Market Opening Day.Come join us at the Piedmont Park Green Market Opening Day this Saturday, May 4th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Cinco de Mayo at The High.Visit the High for a family friendly Cindo de Mayo celebration featuring the exhibition Frida & Diego: Passion, Politics, and Painting with dozens of works by Mexico's famous artist couple. Includes a DJ spinning Latin music, a full bar and Frida and Diego-inspired cuisine on the piazza (weather permitting).
