Moms Group Plan Gun Safety March at Piedmont Park
Sens. Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson voted against life-saving background checks supported by 91 percent of Georgians.

Mothers, children and others who have been affected by gun violence will gather Saturday in Atlanta for a walk and rally to raise awareness about the effects of gun violence on mothers and children.
The Moms Demand Action Mother’s Day Walk and Rally Against Gun Violence march is scheduled for 11 a.m., May 11 in Piedmont Park, 400 Park Drive, NE.
The march follows last month's defeat of the bipartisan legislation proposed by NRA A-rated Sens. Joe Manchin and Pat Toomey that would have closed the loopholes that allow criminals and the mentally ill fron getting guns.
