Patch Pic of the Day: Groovy Smoothie on Piedmont Ave. Closed for Business

Sadly after only a year, Groovy Smoothie has packed up all their equipment and has left the building. The local establishment replaced the Repicci's Ice that was there beforehand.

What Now Atlanta is reporting that, "Groovy Smoothie was open for less than a year. The smoothie shop opened March 2012, replacing Italian ice spot Repicci’s (formerly Smoothie King)."

Groovy Smoothie closed its doors for the final time last week, and the space has since been listed for lease.

The address of the For Lease location is 1001 Piedmont Avenue, and is already built to accommodate some sort of small food service business.
