Repeal Day Celebration By Old Forester Set For Ponce City Market
Several Ponce City Market restaurants and bars are hosting a Repeal Day celebration on Friday, Dec. 7.

ATLANTA, GA -- Several restaurants and bars in Midtown's Ponce City Market will be home to the Old Forester Repeal Day Celebration, organized by Old Forester Bourbon, on Friday, December 7, from 7-11pm. Food and live jazz music will be featured in the Central Food Hall from 7-10pm with giveaways and Prohibition-style, 1920s-inspired cocktail specials.

- King of Pops
- Tap on Ponce
- Bellina Alimentari
Bartenders at each participating restaurant will be dressed in 20s-themed attire while pouring signature Prohibition-inspired cocktails and mocktails crafted with Old Forester, the only bourbon served before, during and after Prohibition, including Brezza Cucina's "Spread The News" cocktail and Minero's "The East Bay," made with Old Forester, cacao nib vermouth, mezcal and Mexican fernet. Developed in honor of the repeal of Prohibition and using Old Forester, featured cocktails and mocktails will be available at each restaurant and bar for a set price through the end of the year.

Old Forester will also be handing out fun Prohibition era costume items like fedoras, suspenders, gloves, pearl necklaces, bowties and more. Advanced event registration is available online here, and guests are asked to check in at Brezza Cucina for a wristband when they arrive on Friday.
Ponce City Market is a historic, mixed-use community hub featuring food, retail, residential lofts, and office space. Developed by Atlanta-based real estate investment and management company Jamestown, Ponce City Market is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The project combines 259 residential flats; 550,000 square feet of Class-A office space; 300,000 square feet of retail; and centers for learning.

At its core is a Central Food Hall featuring restaurants and food stalls from James Beard Award-winning and -nominated chefs. Ponce City Market allocates 20 percent of its residential units as affordable housing, and for visitors arriving on two wheels, there are 500 bike parking spaces and a complimentary bike valet.
