The concept would also include residential, office and commercial components.
Midtown Alliance has reportedly received some concepts, including a large hotel project, for the proposed, so-called "symphony center" which would be located on property owned by the Woodruff Arts Center.
Sources told Atlanta Business Chronicle that architect Perkins+Will Inc. and Macauley+Schmit are on the team developing the ideas. Among them: a 400-room hotel, residential, office and commercial space.
The Chronicle reports that the development cost for the hotel portion could top $100 million.
