According to their website, "south Louisiana native and executive chef Scott Serpas has a knack for carving out a style all his own," and it all has come together with his hip Old Fourth Ward Park restaurant located at Studioplex.
Midtown Patch wanted to stop by and include this New Orleans styled fusion restaurant into our Autumn Cocktails column, and see what their bartenders were working on for the upcoming Fall season. As it turned out, Serpas has a dedicated mixologist/bar manager in Reginald Weekes IV who was more than happy to show us how he creates a few of his special drinks.
Reginald has been featured in the AJC, Atlanta Living, and Upscale Magazine. He tries to feature a new drink every Thursday on his blog, www.HUDSONREGINALD.com
For the Autumn menu, that should be on tables now, Reginald Weekes shows us his Flying Fish which is an ode to his Caribbean roots. As a bonus, Reginald also displays one of his favorite drinks, The Church Lady...which is sure to get you feeling good.
Check out the video, and make sure to stop by Serpas and try one of the specialty cocktails! Oh, and also make sure to taste the beignets, they are to die for!
