Smash and Grab Suspects Caught on Camera

Atlanta police hope security camera footage of the Nov. 29 incident at Atlantic Station will lead to more information about the case.

Atlanta police have released surveillance camera footage of a smash-and-grab burglary at a department store inside Atlantic Station and hope the footage helps them solve the case.

Police say that three suspects forced their way into the Dillard’s at 1371 Market St. NW at approximately 4 a.m. Nov. 29 and stole “three armloads” each of Polo clothing items. The trio left behind a crate which held several glass bottles and a recepit that might have had gang-related nicknames written on it, according to a police report.

The suspects may have stolen a vehicle which was later found abandoned on Hollywood road, police said Wednesday.
