Atlanta police are attempting to locate the person or persons responsible for a smash-and-grab burglary at Atlantic Station which cost one retailer over $30,000 in stolen merchandise alone.
According to a police report, officers were dispatched to the Dillard’s at Atlantic Station on Tuesday morning after store management discovered the store’s sliding glass windows were shattered by a large rock and some 200 pairs of Rock Revival jeans were missing. The jeans retail at $169 a pair, according to the report.
Managers were unable to replay the store’s security camera footage when police arrived, though the store manager said he also noticed four Ralph Lauren hoodies worth $145 each were also missing. Investigators will work with the store’s camera operator to access the footage of the incident, according to the report.
