UPDATE: Toxic Gas Alarm Cleared After Georgia Tech Building Evacuated

Emergency responders had been called to the scene, traffic diverted according to Georgia Tech Police.

Students and faculty were allowed to return to a Georgia Tech science building Tuesday evening after a toxic gas alarm caused a brief evacuation.

The alarm was at the Marcus Nanotechnology building, according to Georgia Tech Police.

Emergency responders were called to the scene and traffic was redirected for a short time.
