Two Children in Critical Condition After Atlanta House Fire
Units responded to the fire at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday, a department spokeswoman said.

Three children are at Grady Memorial Hospital after their home caught fire on Wednesday night, an Atlanta Fire Rescue spokeswoman said.
Firefighters were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of Valley View SE at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday after a fire broke out in the home’s kitchen, Community Affairs Director Jennifer Ward told Patch. WSB-TV reports the home was totally destroyed by the blaze, but Ward could not independently confirm the report.
Fire crews had to rip out burglar bars from the windows and front door, WSB-TV reports. Firefighters rescued the children from a hallway and a bedroom; one child reportedly suffered burns to his arm.
