'Young Frankenstein' To Be Shown At Piedmont Park In Midtown
"Young Frankenstein" will be shown at Piedmont Park In Midtown Atlanta on August 18.
ATLANTA, GA -- "Young Frankenstein" is coming to the big screen in Midtown next month. Turner Classic Movies in conjunction with Xfinity will bring the iconic 1974 film to Midtown's Piedmont Park on August 18. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 8 p.m. showing.
Held at the park's promenade, "Saturday" host Tiffany Vazquez will introduce the screening and attendees will hear from a number of executives, including Coleman Breland, president of Turner Classic Movies and FilmStruck, and Mark Banta, President and CEO of the Piedmont Conservancy.
"Young Frankenstein" is a comedy horror starring Gene Wilder in one of his most iconic roles. The film was directed by Mel Brooks.

In the case of inclement weather, Saturday, August 19, will be a make-up date.
Admission is free to the public, but they will be given out in limited quantities. Individuals can reserve up to four tickets, which must be reserved in advance. None will be available on site.
