Its not really too early to start making your Halloween plans...This year, I am noticing that many people are having to make a choice of which weekend to celebrate it, since Halloween falls on a Thursday.
Your neighborhood friends at Zocalo are trying to make your celebration choices a little easier by offering holiday specials from Halloween until November 3rd.
Zocalo will celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with holiday specials from Thursday, October 31, through Sunday, November 3.
Guests can enjoy slow-roasted pork carnitas in decadent red mole sauce with mild guajillo chiles, chile ancho and oregano, served with cilantro rice, charro beans and cheese corn quesadilla for $18.95. Additionally, guests can sip on habanero blood orange margaritas made with tequila reposado, citrus, blood orange and habanero puree, finished with a black mole rim for $9.95.
