Affordable ACE Overnight Camp Offered by Georgia DNR
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources offers ACE (Adventures in Conservation Education) Overnight Camp for 6th-8th graders.

If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive camp for your middle-schooler this year, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources may have just the answer for you. Does your middle-schooler want to learn more about wildlife? If so then ACE (Adventures in Conservation Education) Overnight Camp for 6th-8th graders may be just what they need.Â
According to a press release from the Georgia DNR, ACE is a unique workshop/camp for middle school students focusing on wildlife conservation. Participants will spend five days immersed in Georgia wildlife via hands-on activities and day trips including birding in Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge, canoeing in Bond Swamp, and exploring bogs at Ohoopee Dunes. They will also spend time learning to shoot shotguns, hiking to a rock outcrop and studying streams with fisheries biologists. Click here for a detailed view of the week.Â
