Death in Oconee Jail Ruled a Suicide
This is the second inmate suicide in a local jail this month. An inmate died by suicide while in Walton County Jail on July 3.

Oconee Patch is reporting that an autopsy of a woman who died Tuesday at the Oconee County Jail revealed that the cause of death was suicide by hanging.
Tracie Kesler, 49, of Colbert, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol on July 16 on charges of driving under the influence. She was checked in at about 10 p.m. and found to be in distress 40 minutes later, according to earlier reports. She died at Athens Regional Medical Center.
This is the second death by suicide in a local jail this month. On July 3, Myron Edward Kulich, 52, awaiting trial on charges of alleged molestation in Walton County Jail also died by suicide while in custody.
