Grand Reopening of Pinnacle Bank in Monroe

Although the newly renovated building has been open for almost a month, .Pinnacle Bank on South Broad Street will have its grand reopening at 11 a.m. today.

Pinnacle Bank in Monroe is celebrating its big grand reopening at 11 a.m. Friday. The locally owned bank opened it's newly renovated bank at 238 South Broad St. in Monroe on July 31. At a cost of about $850,000 in renovations, the bank spent months working on upgrades to expand customer service.

The renovations included:

  • adding more efficient cash automation services that increase customer interactions,
  • doubling the capacity for drive-in transactions,
  • incorporating a secure two-way video system for more personal drive-in processing,
  • a night depository with a canopied drive-up ATM,
  • reconstruction of the bank interior to provide an open concept floor plan.

Additional renovations to the Monroe branch included an enlarged desk for writing checks, a waiting area complete with a coffee bar and flat screen television, and improved access for customer and staff interactions.

Renovation plans were designed by McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture of Greenville, SC. Construction was managed by W. H. Bass, Inc., Duluth, GA.
