Hit and Run in Monroe Results in Life Flight to Hospital
The incident happened at about 10 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, outside the Huddle House across from the old Walmart on Spring Street in Monroe.
According to officials with the Monroe Fire Department, a 60-year old man was struck by a vehicle in a hit and run at about 10 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013. The incident happened at the Huddle House across from the old Walmart on Spring Street in Monroe.
"The victim's injuries were severe and he was life flighted to Atlanta Medical Center," said Lt. Bill Owens, public information officer with MFD.
No details are available at this time on the hit and run, but Patch will update as soon as that information is made available.
