Inside WCSPO Reports: Motorist Punched in Face in Road Rage Incident
Motorist reported that a man got out of a green Ford ranger in Walnut Grove and punched him in the eye before getting back into his car and driving off.

A motorist reported that he was punched in the face by another motorist while driving through Walnut Grove in Walton County on June 19, 2013.Â
According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office incident report, the man told WCSO deputies that he had to swerve to avoid a car that turned into a driveway in Walnut Grove. He said another vehicle, a green older model Ford ranger, came around his vehicle, almost forcing him off the road. The driver of the Ford ranger  stopped in the middle of the road and jumped out. The motorist said the man then rushed over to him and punched him in the eye. The man then got back in the vehicle and went a little further before stopping again at the intersection of Leone and Walnut Avenue and telling him to keep moving. The motorist said the man got back into the vehicle and proceeded down Highway 81 toward Covington.
Police reported that the victim refused treatment, but photos were taken of his eye and nose which showed signs of swelling.
The victim was unable to get the tag number of the Ford ranger and told deputies he had never seen the man before. He said a passenger was in the Ford ranger, but since he didn't get out of the car the victim was unable to give a description of him. He described the driver of the Ford ranger as a white male in his 50s, with grey/brown hair, a scruffy beard and wearing raggedy clothes.
