• 2 plead guilty to Halloween murder in Home Depot parking lot (wsbtv.com) — A deadly 2023 Halloween setup that began at the Walmart in Monroe has now led to life sentences for two men involved in the shooting of Faybeann Ragsdale. After moving their meetup to the nearby Home Depot lot, prosecutors say the men arranged to rob him, ending in a fatal shooting and dramatic crash before both were later arrested in other counties.
