A traffic stop on Jan. 3 resulted in charges filed.

According to Watkinsville Police Chief Lee O'Dillon, officers stopped a 1988 Ford Bronco along Colham Ferry Road after learning that the SUV did not have required insurance coverage. The 55-year-old driver was cited for driving with no insurance and having a suspended tag, he said.

During the traffic stop it was also learned that two passengers in the vehicle were wanted, O'Dillon said. Bobbi Jo Goddard, 27, of Hartwell, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant from the Winder police department. Stanley Duane Knight, 43, of Conyers, was taken into custody on a probation violation warrant from Walton County.  Knight and Goddard were both booked into the Oconee County Jail to await pick up, according to O'Dillon. According to Walton County Sheriff's Office, Knight was in violation of his probation. His initial charge was for cocaine possession.
