Welcome Monroe-GA to your very own Patch community.

The countdown is finally over and here we are. I hope you enjoy being able to share your news, events, announcements and achievements with the rest of your community.

Thank you to everyone who signed on to share their blogs, announcements and conversations. A special welcome to contributors to the first edition.

Bloggers:

• - a Social Circle resident who consider Monroe "her town." A mother of six, Kathlene will be sharing her experiences as a mom - something many of us can relate to.
• - will be sharing her tips for the wise consumer with us - advice from which we can all benefit.
• - Pastor of Rivers of Mercy Church in Monroe - will be sharing inspirational blogs as well as updates on the progress of his cultural exchange program and the difference he and Rivers of Mercy is making in the Davis Street community.
• - will be sharing his expertise as a bee keeper, including "how to" tips on keeping bees, extracting honey, etc. In addition, as the public information officer for the Monroe Fire Department, Lt. Owens will be keeping us up to date on safety issues etc. courtesy of the Monroe Fire Department.

We would also like to thank those who have already shared photographs with Monroe Patch (via Loganville-Grayson Patch and Facebook) - Shannon McClure and Randy Slape. Over the next couple of days we will be sharing ways on just how easy it is to make Patch the place to always get the news and information that makes your life ridiculously easy.
