AGC Glass to Recruit Production Workers in Cobb

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) is helping AGC Glass Company fill about 20 production jobs in Cobb County. The company is a manufacturer of glass that is used in homes, commercial businesses, and industrial plants.
The company is conducting an on-going recruitment each weekday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, March 22.
The recruitment is being held at the GDOLβs Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Rd. in Marietta.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED), and at least one year of production experience. And, the applicants must be able to pass an assessment test given by the company.
Salaries range from an entry-level $10 an hour to $21 an hour, based on experience.
