Cobb EMC Bills to Drop

The Cobb Electric Membership Corp. board approved a 1-mill reduction in its wholesale power adjustment that will save residential members $1.14 a month.

“The decision among the board of directors was unanimous,” board chairman Ed Crowell said in a statement. “We’ve been hard at work this last year to control costs and make progress that truly benefits our members. Passing those savings on through lower monthly bills was the logical next step.”

Over the course of a year, residential members will save roughly $13.68.
