Mo's Kicks Go the Distance

Mo Isom found the range Thursday as she completed her spring fling with the LSU football team.

“Great day on the gridiron. Much more consistent on field goals. Still have room to improve, but am pretty pleased,” Isom tweeted, adding that she’ll meet with Coach Les Miles on Monday.

“I look forward to feedback from the coaches,” she continued. She said she’ll try out again in the fall if she doesn’t make the team now, something Miles has said is unlikely for any walk-on kicker.

Facing countless interview requests in the past week, Isom had some fun on camera Thursday with WDSU-TV and others, joking that at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds of muscle, she can take a hit.
