Northeast Cobb Patch Celebrates First Anniversary
A year ago, Patch began to take root in Northeast Cobb, excavating the town's untold stories, highlighting residents too humble to acknowledge their accomplishments, and cutting at crux of core issues that simultaneously divide and unite the community.
Patch began as AOL's start-up company committed to bringing up-to-the-minute news solely through the Internet and social media. A year later, the company has expanded to more than 800 sites nationwide, becoming a part of The Huffington Post Media Group.
It's been 365 days of nonstop news—crime, sports, elections and education—and we hope to continue providing the same level of coverage for years to come.
