Northeast Cobb Road Work Update

Shiloh Road/Shallowford Road Construction 

• Wade Green Road to Canton Road: Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday with one lane open.
• Shallowford Road to Rocky Mountain Road: Expect lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with one lane remaining open at all times.

I-575 at Barrett Parkway

Georgia DOT continues work on the intersection and ramps at I-575 and Barrett Parkway. This project is scheduled to complete this month.

New Chastain Road Bridge Replacement

Cobb DOT has begun work replacing the westbound bridge on New Chastain Road over Noonday Creek. This will result in closing the westbound lanes for four months or longer. Westbound traffic will be detoured to the eastbound bridge, which will provide one lane in each direction during construction.

Timber Ridge Road Sidewalks

Project consists of installing sidewalk on the north side of Timber Ridge Road. A pedestrian bridge will also be installed as part of the project over Timber Ridge Branch.

Jacksons Creek Bluff to Lower Roswell Road: The contractor will continue grading, sidewalk construction, and begin work on pedestrian bridge.
