Student Created Shirts Prohibited at Lassiter
The Cobb County School District expects students to observe a standard of dress that is appropriate for the school atmosphere.

Lassiter High School students' creation of spirit wear t-shirts featuring an alcohol brand fizzled with administrators.
"Students created t-shirts with a parody of a local brewery for spirit wear. The t-shirt design is not approved by the administration and may not be worn," Communication Specialist Doug Goodwin told Northeast Cobb Patch.
School administrators reminded students that they should not wear any article of clothing that contains suggestive phrases or any item of clothing that may contribute to the disruption of the school day.

The Lassiter Trojan spirit should be shown in appropriate ways, the Lassiter PTA said in a released statement. The PTA would like parents to talk with students about not wearing the shirts at school or while attending school events.

Students will be reminded of this policy in their Advisement class.
The dress code is not a Lassiter requirement but a district-wide expectation that is explained in Rule JICA.
