2012 Veterans Day Ceremony

When: 2 p.m. Saturday

Where: Cauble Park, 4425 Beach St., Acworth | Get Directions 

Why Go: This year's keynote speaker will be Richard "Dick" Bailey, a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942-1946 who completed a tour of 65 Missions in a B-26 Bomber and was the recipient of two Distinguished Flying Crosses, 13 Air Medals, and five Battle Stars.

5th Annual Smyrna Veterans Day

When: 2 p.m. Sunday

Why Go: Don't miss an opportunity to thank the men and women who have served in the armed forces.

ZUMBA-THON for Victims of Superstorm Sandy

When: 5 p.m. Sunday

Why Go: All proceeds will be donated to Superstorm Sandy relief efforts.
