Patient Ejected From Ambulance In I-575 Accident - Canton-Sixes Patch
A patient and two medics riding in anΒ AmeriMedΒ Emergency Medical ServicesΒ ambulance were injured in a roll-over accident early Sunday morning in Canton.
According to aΒ Cherokee County Fire and Emergency ServicesΒ press release, dispatchers received a call around 2 a.m. Sunday from the patient who was being transported notifying them of the accident, which occurred along Interstate 575 near Georgia Highway 140 at Exit 16.Β

Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident - Marietta Patch
TheΒ Marietta Police DepartmentΒ Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) is investigating a March 31 fatal hit-and-run accident.
A 55-year-old male was riding a bicycle on Powder Springs Street near Natchez Trace when he was struck by what witnesses describe as a black SUV, Police said.
The driver of the vehicle was last seen northbound on Powder Springs Street towards downtown Marietta.

Gas Regulator Station Opponents Circulate Video of a Fire - Brookhaven Patch
Opponents of anΒ Atlanta Gas Light regulator station being built in PDK's flight pathΒ are circulating a video of a 2010 fire at a similar station, also constructed near a residential neighborhood.
The video is of a 2010 gas regulator station fire in Toledo, Ohio.
AGL is replacing portions of its so-called Eastside Pipeline. It is also building a gas regulator pipeline station directly inΒ DeKalb-Peachtree Airport'sΒ flight path, which has some residents worried about potential public safety issues.

Police Release Image of Person of Interest Sought in Burglaries - Douglasville Patch
TheΒ Douglas County Sheriff's Department'sΒ Investigation Division has released a photo of an individual they are attempting to identify in reference to burglaries that have occurred in and around the "Meadows" off of Lee Road, according to theΒ Sheriff's Facebook page.

Atlanta PoliceΒ Investigators are still searching for two suspects that robbed and then kidnapped a man from his Buckhead home on Karland Drive around 2 a.m. Friday.
"The victim advised that he was outside his residence smoking a cigarette when two gunmen came up and demanded his wallet," according to Officer Kim Jones. The incident happened on Karland Drive, between Habersham Road and Roswell Road.
