OCHS, NOHS Academic Teams Place First and Second at State Bowl

The Oconee County Board of Educations at its March meeting honored varsity academic teams from Oconee County High and North Oconee High schools.*

The OCHS team won first place in the state at the Academic Bowl. Team members are Ben Ainsworth, John Benton, Zach Carlton, Colton Lowder, Jared Munneke, Hunter Perlman, Andrew Pritchette, and Susan Ye.

Tom Drewry is their advisor.

The NOHS team were undefeated in the regular season and placed second in the state at the Academic Bowl.

Team members are: Noor Amari, Pranav Bhandarkar, Terra Blevins, Ben Burton, Cristina Chlan, Kayley Deaton, Amanda Dukes, Meghan Hovell, Mallory Hunter, Morgan Kemmerlin, Vitoria Kuzolitz, Yoonju Moon, Robert Padgett, Megan Perry, Alex Poole, Rebecca Riddle, Rameela Rizvi, Zach Rojas, Lydia Sloan, Brenna Springstead, Maura Springstead, and Steven Thomas.
