Web.com Hosts Free Forum to Help Athens’ Area Small Businesses Succeed in Marketing Online

Web.com, a leading provider of Internet services and online marketing solutions for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), will host a free, interactive Small Business Forum designed to help Athens small businesses learn how to be successful on the Internet.  The forum takes place on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 from 8 - 10:30 a.m. EST at the Foundry Park Inn and is being supported by this week’s Stadion Classic at UGA.

“We’re excited to have an event focused on what really works with marketing online so that small businesses in Athens can harness the power of the Internet to succeed,” said Web.com forum presenter Debbi Lechner, vice president of eCommerce marketing for Web.com. “We have best practices to share from our millions of business owners who we work with everyday addressing real-world challenges of marketing online and through social channels.  As with other forums we’ve hosted recently across the U.S., there will be a dynamic dialogue surrounding a range of key, timely topics that  small businesses face with this increasingly important digital opportunity. ”

Topics and Q&A sessions at the Small Business Forum will primarily focus on ways small business owners can achieve a successful internet presence, including: the elements of a great website, how to determine if your website is ‘working’ for you, increasing traffic to your website and your business, and demystifying how to efficiently market on Google, Facebook and Twitter.
