Authorities Searching for Sun Trust Bank Robber

The Athens Clarke County Police Department and the GBI are looking for a suspect who robbed the Sun Trust Bank at 3445 Atlanta Highway on Saturday morning.
The man was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
He is described as a light-skinned black man or a Hispanic man and is slender. He wore a black T-shirt with a towel over his face. The T-shirt/towel had holes cut out so the robber could see. The man also had on a baggy, long-sleeve T-shirt, long, black jean shorts below the knees. The suspect wore black athletic shoes.

He escaped in a gray Nissan Altima car owned by one of the bank employees. The car was recovered in the area of Windy Hill Way.
