Today at 4pm, you can frost a king cupcake, make a mask and head young adult author Gail Karwoski talk about her latest book, "When Hurricane Katrina Hit Home." All at the Oconee County Library.

The writer visited New Orleans after the 2005 storm devastated the city, causing thousands of people to move away, some never to return. The book follows the story of two children stranded on a rooftop as the water around them rises.
