Custom Wheels and Tires Swiped from Cutlass

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department.

Watkinsville police on May 20 were called to a Colham Ferry Road address where the owner of a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass reported someone had stolen the tires and wheels from the car.

The car had been parked behind the home at the time of the theft, according to Chief Lee O'Dillon.Β  The new tires and custom wheels are valued at $3,000.

  • A Cedar Hill Circle resident on the morning of May 21 reported that a neighbor's tree limb had fallen on his Toyota truck causing damage. The truck was parked and unoccupied, at the time. The neighbor and insurance company were contacted.
  • On Friday afternoon, May 24, an Athens woman reported that someone had taken her new Apple iPad while she was at a Third Street address for a class.Β  The woman had left itΒ  unattended and when she returned the device was gone.Β  It is valued at $875.

Watkinsville police responded to a total of 28 calls within city limits between May 20-26, 2013.
