Dumped Limbs Cause Dispute Between Neighbors

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

A Whitehall Road property owner complained to Watkinsville police on Thursday that a neighbor’s lawn maintenance crew had dumped the limbs and grass clippings onto his land. Once the offending yard owner was shown the debris, he agreed to remove it, according to Chief Lee O'Dillon's weekly news release.

In other news, Friday evening police stopped a 2011 Honda Accord on Main Street in downtown. After a computer check, Emerson Redd, 51, of Greensboro was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Redd was booked and later released after posting bond.

Watkinsville police responded to a total of 28 calls within city limits between March 11-17, 2013.
